How do I join?
Complete an application form (you can download one from the website) and submit to info@yelfortsmith.org. $25 membership fee is payable to YEL and can be mailed to the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce at 612 Garrison Ave., Fort Smith, AR 72901 or brought the next event and delivered to a Leadership Council member.

How much are dues?

$25/Annually

How often do you meet?
There are a variety of events throughout the years. Typically there are opportunities to attend a YEL event (social or professional development) once a month and sometimes more. You can attend as many events as you would like. There is no minimum or maximum requirement. We do recommend attending events, as that is the best way to meet new individuals, make great connection and get the most out of your membership.

How do I join a council?
Contact any person on the Leadership Council and they will connect you with the appropriate person. If you aren’t sure what committee you would like to join, just ask and we will be happy to help.

When/how often do the councils meet?
The committees usually meet once a month with the exception of the Leadership Council, who meets every other week.

What is the age limit?
YEL members are 21-39 yrs.

When is the next YEL event?
We add new events throughout the year to supplement our staple events. Please check the website for the latest event information and be sure to join our newsletter list so we can email you about upcoming events. You can also sign up for text messages at www.BroadTexter.com

Can I promote a non YEL event on the website?
Many of YEL members are activity in the community; therefore we are happy to share the information to the members via the website and at events when appropriate to help spread the word.
